The Black Knights are a community run robotics team for high school aged students.
The team competes in the annual FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) and has year-round training and education programs.
Hand-on, practical experience teaches our team members:
- Fabrication
- Engineering
- Programming
- Teamwork
- Leadership
With mentor-ship from engineers and builders in the community.

Operating out of the Solid State Depot the Black Knights are a 501(c) non-profit organization, devoted to improving STEM education in the Boulder CO community.
The team is operated by a dedicated group of community volunteers who believe in the effectiveness of the program and the importance of STEM education.
Donations from our generous sponsors provide 95% of teams operating budget.
